The GPM MAKX162S adjustable front steering tie rod is precision-forged from stainless steel and 6061-T6 aluminum alloy to increase link strength and maintain accurate steering geometry under repeated stress. Materials and construction focus on durability while preserving precise control feel.

Threaded left and right ends are manufactured to tight tolerances for fast installation and accurate turnbuckle adjustment, removing play from the steering system. Diameter is increased from 7mm to 9mm for higher bending resistance, and the adjustable length range of 163mm to 168mm gives tunable steering throw and toe alignment options.

Components are supplied pre-assembled to simplify fitting. For secure long term service in demanding use, apply a medium-strength screw adhesive to fasteners to reduce loosening under vibration and shock.
