Technical front CVD upgrade for ARRMA Kraton 6S BLX

The GPM MAK142FS Harden Steel Front CVD Driveshaft is designed to reinforce the ARRMA Kraton 6S BLX front driveline with a focus on reliability and long term durability. Manufactured from hardened steel #45, the component provides higher resistance to wear and deformation. Increasing the dogbone diameter from 5mm to 6mm reduces joint deflection and improves torque transfer under load.

Packing includes

  • Set Screws 5x5 - 2pcs

Specifications

  • Material: Hardened steel #45
  • Dogbone Diameter: 6mm
  • Length of Dogbone: 142mm

This item is compatible with

  • ARRMA KRATON 6S
  • ARRMA Outcast 6S BLX Stunt Truck
  • ARRMA-1/8 NOTORIOUS 6S - ARA106044T2
  • ARRMA-1/8 4WD OUTCAST 6S BLX -ARA106060

Hardened steel #45 improves fatigue life and impact resistance compared with softer stock materials, reducing the likelihood of fractures under heavy use.
No chassis modification is required when replacing the front driveshaft assembly, but ensure the mating dogbones and cups are rated for 6mm diameter and check alignment during assembly.
Inspect the driveshaft and set screws after initial runs, keep joints free of debris, and perform periodic lubrication and torque checks to maintain peak performance.
