Machined aluminium knuckle arms for E-REVO VXL steering

This 8pcs knuckle arm set swaps the standard plastic pivots for machined 6061-T6 aluminium components to increase pivot stiffness and reduce flex at the steering joint. POM collars are provided to refine bearing seating and Delrin lock nuts are supplied to reduce wear at threaded interfaces.

The component geometry includes multiple tie rod mounting locations to permit fine adjustments to steering throw and Ackerman without altering other suspension links. Anodised machining ensures consistent left-right fit and corrosion resistance under typical electric monster truck use.

What tolerance improvements should I expect?

The machined aluminium arms and POM collars aim to reduce lateral bearing play compared with molded plastic knuckles, resulting in a firmer steering pivot and more consistent steering geometry under load.

Are the fasteners torque critical?

Use moderate torque to secure the stainless 3x22 screws and Delrin nuts. Over-tightening can deform the collars or bearings, while under-tightening will not achieve the intended reduction in play.

Can I return to stock geometry if needed?

Yes. The knuckles are designed as a direct aftermarket replacement, so reinstalling original parts will restore stock geometry and steering characteristics.
