Technical Overview

TPS014 is a scale chassis nerf bar kit engineered for TRAXXAS sand car platforms, model TPS014. The parts are CNC machined from 7075 aviation-grade aluminum in a single-piece process to reduce joints, optimising the strength-to-weight ratio and enhancing corrosion resistance for demanding off-road use.

Machining includes precision hollowing and a small-hole silver-edge profile to maintain scale appearance while reducing mass. The bars are offered in anodized finishes: blue, black, green, orange, red and silver. The kit is designed as a direct replacement for the OE #10922 plastic chassis anti-guardrail on supported TRAXXAS variants.

Functionally the bars provide chassis-side protection to absorb impacts and abrasion during high-speed sand and off-road operation, with minimal impact on handling due to the lightweight one-piece 7075 construction.
