Precision 32T differential for 1/6 Funco Pro sand drivetrains

Aftermarket replacement differential gear engineered for the TRAXXAS Funco Pro Scale 2WD sand car platform. The unit is manufactured from 20CrMnTi alloy steel, subjected to controlled heat treatment and surface blackening to raise hardness and wear resistance, and supplied as a single 32-tooth component with module M1.5 matching factory dimensions. It is intended as a direct service or performance-oriented replacement for the original gear.

In a 1/6 scale sand drivetrain the differential gear transfers torque to the axles and determines mesh stability and backlash under load. A hardened 20CrMnTi 32T gear reduces abrasive wear and helps maintain correct gear geometry during high-load sand operation.

Packing includes

Use this precision-hardened 32T when rebuilding or upgrading a sand-focused drivetrain; confirm the compatible model before installation and follow proper mesh and bearing checks.

The gear is produced to match factory M1.5 module and 32T specifications with tight dimensional control to ensure consistent mesh and backlash when installed with correct bearings.
20CrMnTi offers a balance of toughness and hardenability; with appropriate heat treatment this alloy provides enhanced surface hardness and resistance to abrasive wear compared with softer gear steels.
Verify bearing condition, check gear face runout, set correct backlash, and rotate the assembly by hand to confirm smooth engagement before applying full throttle.
Regular cleaning to remove ingress, use of appropriate lubricants and prompt replacement of damaged mates will maximise the service life of the hardened gear.
